Terms of Service

Effective: July 1, 2025

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms establish rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Playke Inc. and users regarding the emotion-logging app "Mind Planet."

Article 2 (Non-Medical Service Notice)

The Service is not medical and does not provide professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or prescriptions.

  • Information provided is for general information and self-reflection only, not a substitute for qualified professionals.
  • Users should consult professionals before making health-related decisions.
  • In emergencies or crises, users should contact emergency numbers or crisis hotlines immediately, not rely on this Service.
  • Mind Planet is not a certified medical device and does not provide professional counseling.
  • AI responses are automatically generated and may be inaccurate.

Article 3 (Definitions)

"Service"

The mobile application "Mind Planet" recording and analyzing emotions and thoughts

"User"

Any person using the Service

"Paid Service"

Additional subscription or separately paid features

"Basic User"

Users installing the app without sign-up

"Subscriber"

Users accessing server-based features through paid subscription

Article 4 (Effect and Amendments)

  • Terms take effect when posted in the Service or app store page.
  • The Company may amend Terms within applicable law with prior notice.

Article 5 (Conclusion and Termination of Agreement)

  • For Basic Users, agreement forms upon app installation without sign-up.
  • For Paid Services, agreement forms upon payment completion.
  • Users may stop using the Service anytime; subscription cancellation follows app store policies.

Article 6 (Service Contents and Conditions)

The Service provides:

  • Emotion logging and analysis
  • AI-based feedback
  • Emotion statistics

Basic Users: Store records locally

Subscribers: Store records on servers via anonymous authentication

Server-based features are available during subscription periods only. The Company may modify the Service for operational or technical reasons.

Article 7 (Subscriptions and Fees)

  • Paid Services are offered as monthly or yearly subscriptions or per-session products.
  • Prices, payment terms, and refund rules follow separate notices within the Service.
  • The Company may change prices without prior notice; changes don't apply to existing subscribers.

Article 8 (Refunds and Cancellation)

Full Refund

Within 7 days of subscription with no usage

Partial Refund

After deducting regular prices for months used

Discounted annual plans may have no or partial refunds. Refunds process under app store policies.

Article 9 (User Rights and Obligations)

Users must use the Service properly and shall not:

Steal information

Attempt unauthorized access or attacks on servers

Conduct unrelated commercial activities

Users are responsible for backing up and securing their own data. Paid users should monitor subscription status and auto-renewal.

Article 10 (Company's Obligations)

  • The Company endeavors to provide continuous and stable Service
  • Implements technical and administrative measures to protect personal and record data
  • May temporarily suspend Service for maintenance or emergencies with notice

Article 11 (Personal Data and Records)

The Company collects minimal personal data and uses anonymous authentication for paid features.

Basic Users

Data stores only on devices; the Company doesn't store or view it on servers.

Subscribers

Data stores on servers via anonymous authentication; the Company doesn't view such data.

Article 12 (Service Termination and Agreement Cancellation)

  • The Company may terminate the Service for unavoidable reasons with at least 30 days' notice.
  • Users may stop and delete the Service anytime; deleting the app removes all local data.
  • Server-stored data may be deleted within a certain period after subscription expiry.

Article 13 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)

These Terms are governed by Republic of Korea laws. Disputes resolve through mutual consultation; failing that, the competent court is Seoul Central District Court.
